Description: Extensive internal remodelling of an existing home, with a large extension over garage conversion containing two bedrooms, bath-en-suite, playroom, and reception. Timber frame with UK grown Douglas Fir cladding, super insulation to walls and roof, dense block internal lining, for excellent insulation with high thermal storage, giving reduced winter heating and cool interior in summer.

Description: An ongoing programme of renovation on an environmentally
friendly basis to this Cotswold stone four bedroom cottage has so
far achieved: low energy lamps, green tariff electricity, log burning
stove, two door draught lobbies to all external doors, triple glazing,
and super insulation to the loft in recycled newsprint and sheepswool.
Coming soon are a whole house ventilation system with heat recovery
with an undertile solar collector, and solar panels for water heating.
In the long term are proposed a geo-thermal heat pump, off grid
electricity generation fuelled by Bio-diesel, and a wood burning
kitchen range, all to provide complete stand alone electricity,
hot water and cooking.
